The campus and downtown Tempe's Mill Avenue bar-and-restaurant district sit just to the west, walkable from the gates, and the light rail runs nearby. This is a rare on-campus stadium with a genuine walkable district next door.

Early-season heat is extreme, so day games are a sun-and-hydration exercise while night games are the sweet spot when the desert cools. Southwest and Arizona touches lead: Sonoran hot dogs (bacon-wrapped, with beans and salsa), street tacos, nachos, and green-chile options alongside standard stadium fare and local craft beer. The Sonoran dog and the street-taco stands are the local-color picks.

Food and pre-game outside

Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe is a short walk from the gates with a dense row of bars and restaurants, one of the best walkable pre-game and post-game scenes at any campus stadium. Campus tailgate lots fill out the rest of the pre-game options.
